Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday released Rs 100 coin in memory of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajyapee. PM Modi released the coin a day before Atal Bihari Vajyapee’s 94th birthday.

Following a prolonged illness, Atal Bihari Vajyapee passed away on August 16 this year at All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS). He was 93.
