President's address introduces a spirit of hope: PM Narendra Modi in Lok Sabha

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday replied to the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address in Lok Sabha. In the beginning, the opposition started raising slogans "Mahatma Gandhi amar rahe". To this, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said that this was just a trailer. Meanwhile, PM Modi replied that "Mahatma Gandhi might be trailer for you; he is a role model for us." Afterwards, PM Narendra Modi said that "President Ram Nath Kovind highlighted the vision for a New India. His address comes at a time when we have entered the third decade of the century. President's address introduced a spirit of hope and presented a roadmap for taking the country ahead in the future." Adding, PM Modi stated that "the Citizens of India have not only changed the Sarkar, but they want the 'Sarokar' to be changed. If we had worked as per the old ways and thoughts, then Article 370 would never have been abrogated, Muslim women would have kept suffering due to Triple Talaq." "If we had worked as per the old ways, then Ram Janmabhoomi issue would have remained unresolved, Kartarpur Sahib Corridor would not have been made, there would have been no India-Bangladesh land agreement," he added. PM Modi also said that "Now, India can no longer wait for problems to remain unsolved. That is why our target is: speed and scale, determination and decisiveness, sensitivity and solution." https://www.ptcnews.tv/turkey-plane-crash-plane-skids-off-runway-istanbul-airport-3-dead-en/ He also said that "For years, the distance became a reason to ignore the Northeast region. Now, the things have changed. Northeast is becoming a growth engine now. Excellent work has been done in various sectors. The Ministers and officials are regularly visiting the region." Taking dig out at Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Lok Sabha said that "Adhir ji promotes the 'Fit India Movement' launched by Rijiju ji. He also does gym while delivering his speeches." Also, PM Modi said in a speech that "We have kept the fiscal deficit in check. The price rise is also under check and there is macro-economic stability in it. The investor confidence should increase, the country's economy should be strengthened, for this we have also taken several steps." -PTC News
