Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday addressed a public meeting in Kokrajhar, Assam. While raising Rahul Gandhi's statement in Lok Sabha, PM Modi said that "People talks about hitting me with sticks, but Modi is having support of mothers and sisters, who will not let the single stick to fall on him." Adding, PM Modi said that "Today, it is the day to acknowledge the support of all the young people belonging to All Bodo Students Union (ABSU), National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB), BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary and Assam Government, who played a very positive role for this Bodo agreement." Meanwhile, he added that "I welcome all those people who were part of the Bodo Land Movement and have joined the mainstream. After almost five decades, with full harmony, the expectations and aspirations of every partner associated with the Bodo Land Movement, have been respected."
