Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tweet over BJP’s massive victory in Lok Sabha elections 2019 bagged India’s ‘Golden Tweet’ of 2019 title for being the most liked and retweeted tweet of the year. The results for Lok Sabha elections 2019 were announced on May 23. Narendra Modi government stormed back to power after its historic win.
The NDA government was re-elected to power after winning 352 Lok Sabha seats, far beyond the 272 seats required for a majority in the Lok Sabha of Parliament. BJP itself won 303 seats of total 542 parliamentary seats that went to elections.

Following the historic victory, PM Narendra Modi had tweeted “Together we grow. Together we prosper. Together we will build a strong and inclusive India. India wins yet again! #VijayBharat.”
At that time, BJP president and current Union Home Minister Amit Shah had also congratulated the party after the victory and said that the massive victory is the “victory of PM Modi’s development and the people’s trust in him”.
Amit Shah had tweeted: “This victory is India’s victory. This is the victory of the hopes of youths, the poor, and farmers. This massive win is the victory of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development and the people’s trust in him. On the behalf of crores of BJP workers, I congratulate Narendra Modi.”
