Aanganwari workers were protesting against the Punjab government at Patiala railway station but Patiala police stopped the workers on Monday night. Anganwari workers were protesting against the decision of the Punjab government to enroll in primary schools in the age group of 3 to 6 years and start their classes from November 14. Anganwadi workers have alleged that the government's decision has left the future of 54,000 Anganwadi workers, in the dark.
