Police opened mild lathicharge on hundreds of unemployed teachers who were protesting outside Punjab Education Minister, OP Soni’s house on Friday afternoon. The police took this step to stop them from progressing any further.

On Friday morning, hundreds of unemployed teachers held a protest outside OP Soni’s house under the banner of the Unemployed ETT-TET Pass Union and the TET Pass BEd Teachers’ Union in Amritsar.
