Police lathicharged protesting teachers near Education minister residence Protesting against the regularisation policy regarding 8,886 teachers of Adarsh schools, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) and Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA), members of the Sanjha Adhyapak Morcha gherao the house of Education Minister OP Soni,here on Sunday. The teachers, however,insisted upon moving further on which a scuffle between police and the protesters.The police resorted to a lathichrge and also used water canons to disperse the teachers. The teachers has been protesting against the regulairsation policy and are sitting at the protest for past 40 days in Patiala. -PTC News
