Police recovers over 10 kg heroin in Ludhiana Over 10 kg of Heroin has been recovered by Ludhiana police on Monday from a couple of Jammu & Kashmir to local addicts. On a tip off, Specioal Task Force nabbed Mohammad Arbi (48) and his wife, Jamila Begum (36), on Monday. They were transporting the 10.25 kg heroin in their car. The accused were the resident of Jalalabad Sunjama village in Jammu. They hid the contraband in a bag of walnuts.
They both were taken for further investigation. During the interrogation, the couple told the police that the contraband was supplied by a Pakistan-based supplier from POK area. According to the media sources, the accused had supplied drugs earlier also in Punjab. Police has taken the couple into custody for detailed questioning. -PTC NEWS
