Police Remand of IGP Parmraj Singh Umranangal’s extended by three days

Police Remand of IGP Parmraj Singh Umranangal’s extended by three days The police remand of Inspector General (IG) of Police Parmraj Singh Umaranangal has been extended by three days. Parmraj Singh Umaranangal was arrested by Punjab Police’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) on February 18. He was produced before the court on February 19. He was He was remanded to police custody for four days. SIT has summoned IGP Paramraj Singh, IG Jatinder Jain, IG Amar Singh Chahal, SP Paramjit Singh Pannu and SDM Harjit Sandhu for questioning on February 13. These officers were on duty during the firing incidents that took place at Kotkapura and Behbal Kalan village.
