Haryana police doubled reward to 2 lakh for info on Aditya Insan arrest. While the Panchkula police have miserably failed to arrest the Dera's top functionary, Aditya Insan, it has increasing the reward on Aditya from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh.
Haryana DGP had also approved the reward money of Rs 50,000 each on four other accused who are also absconding in connection with the Panchkula violence on August 25. The names of informers will be kept secret, said Panchkula Police Commissioner AS Chawla.
The police have released and pasted posters of these absconding accused, including Aditya Insan, in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. The posters were even posted outside naam charcha ghars, the commissioner added.
At least 31 people lost their life and more than 250 people got injured in the violence after Gurmeet Ram Rahim was conviction by the CBI special court in Panchkula on August 25.
