Pollution Will Decrease In Sri Darbar Sahib; Will Soon Use CNG As Cooking Fuel

Pollution Will Decrease In Sri Darbar Sahib; Will Now Soon Use CNG As Cooking Fuel Sri Guru Ram Dass Ji langar hall in the Golden Temple will soon be starting CNG as their cooking fuel. CNG will replace LPG and wood as cooking fuel at the Golden Temple. On an average, 90 LPG cylinders are used at the shrine to prepare langar for nearly 60,000 people daily. Now CNG gas supply will be supplied through pipelines to the Sri Darbar Sahib.  The line work has been completed till Ghee Mandi Chowk and now this line will soon reach Sri Darbar Sahib. After this, the inconvenience of transporting LPG cylinders and problem of smoke pollution will end. This will also protect the environment. All the important preparations and arrangements have been done for the CNG work.
