Ahead of Punjab Assembly elections 2022, poll-strategist Prashant Kishor on Thursday quit as an adviser to Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh. He said that he had decided to take a temporary break from an active role in public life. Prashant Kishore said "As you are aware, in view of my decision to take a temporary break from an active role in public life, I have not been able to take over the responsibilities as your Principal Advisor."
