Prices of petrol in Mumbai reaches Rs 90 per liter; Diesel price continues to rise
Petrol and diesel prices continue to rise and there is no way that people could have some relief in terms of purchasing fuel.
In Mumbai, the price of petrol has amounted to nearly Rs. 90 per liter, while diesel is retailing at Rs 78.26 per liter respectively.
Petrol in New Delhi is being sold 28 paise higher at Rs. 81.91 per liter, and diesel at Rs. 73.72 per liter after a hike of 18 paise.
However, the Centre has maintained that external factors, including a rise in international crude oil prices, are influencing domestic fuel prices.
Looking at the increasing prices of petrol and diesel, Congress and 21 other regional parties observed a ‘Bharat Bandh’ and urged the government to take necessary steps to reduces the citizens’ problems.
