According to a survey conducted by the Punjab government, the State has become the cancer capital of the country. The survey revealed that Punjab has a higher incidence of cancer than other States. It further revealed that there are at least 90 cancer patients for every 100,000 people. Prostate cancer is a cancer that usually occurs in a small walnut-shaped gland called as prostate. It is a gland that produces the seminal fluid that nourishes and transports sperm. • Obesity. Obese men diagnosed with prostate cancer may be more likely to have advanced disease that's more difficult to treat.
