Protesting farmers rename Nirankari Samagam ground as 'Kisanpura'
Amid protest at Burari maidan, farmers renamed Nirankari Samagam ground as 'Kisanpura': Amid continuous deadlock between the farmers and the Centre over farm laws 2020, farmers have been agitating at various points on Delhi border.
The farmers, protesting at Burari maidan, said that they have renamed the Nirankari Samagam ground as 'Kisanpura' as they have been agitating there for the last 33 days.

A farmer said, "We have been protesting for the past 33 days. It has become like a village, thus we have renamed it to Kisanpura."
Farmers have been protesting against the farm laws 2020. Meanwhile, Punjab Pradesh Congress Sewa Dal members on Monday held a demonstration near Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar's residence to protest against Centre's Farm Laws.

The protesters were detained by the police as they tried to cross the barricades.
It is pertinent to mention that the farmers have sent a proposal to the Centre for the next round of meetings on Tuesday i.e. December 29.
The farmers' protest is crystal clear with a clear demand to repeal the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
