Meet Sonal, a Patiala-based student who topped PSEB Class 12

Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) on Tuesday announced the results of Class 12 board exams 2020. Meanwhile, a Class 12 student of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Old Police Lines (Patiala) got 98.22 percent marks. She has been identified as Sonal who achieved the first rank in the district in the Non-Medical stream.

According to the information, Sonal wants to become a professor. She has achieved 90 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Sonal's mother is a teacher herself and therefore, she wants to adopt the same for her. Meanwhile, Sonal will continue her study from Mahindra college in BSC Non-Medical stream.

Besides thanking her family members, Sonal thanked her school teachers for guidance which helped her in achieving the honour.

Patiala's District Education officer Smt. Harinder Kaur, School Principal Mandeep Kaur and class teacher Rajni Badal congratulated Sonal for achieving the first rank in the district.

Class teacher Rajni Bala said that Sonal has always been focused towards studies and that she is a role model for other students.
