PTC releases the music of 3D Animation Film “Bhai Taru Singh”
Coming on board as music partner; an expression of PTC’s corporate philosophy to promote meaningful music
Collaborating with Vismaad Production for their forthcoming 3D film, “Bhai Taru Singh” as music partner, PTC Motion Pictures today released film’s music. The film narrates the inspiring story of Bhai Taru Singh through the digital medium of animation.
The story of Bhai Taru Singh is a great example of courage and supreme sacrifice for faith. Imprisoned by Mughal rulers, Bhai Taru Singh chose to be scalped alive rather than abdicate his faith. Bringing the glorious Sikh history to life through animation, the story gets accentuated through beautiful rendition of Gurbani.

Punjabi music has been drawing flak for vulgar, misogynist songs and glorifying arms. While we condemn the degradation of Punjabi music, it is our earnest endevour to contribute in the mission to reverse the trend by promoting Punjab’s rich & glorious heritage through music “, added Mr. Narayan.
It is noteworthy here that PTC has taken a unique initiative to screen the content of Punjabi music before telecasting on the channel. The music shown on the channel will first go through in-house filtering process to select content suitable for public viewing.
Apart from four soulful Gurbani Kirtan tracks by Raagi Jatha “Bhai Satwinder Singh Harvinder Singh”, the songs by leading singer Jaspinder Narula and sufi sensation Kanwar Grewal are there to capture the imagination of youth.
