Pulwama Attack Anniversary: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal and Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal paid tribute to Pulwama martyrs on Friday. On this day in 2019, 40 CRPF jawans were killed by a suicide bomber in Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir. The CRPF jawans were in convoy when suicide bomber came in a car and rammed into the convoy.

Taking to twitter, Sukhbir Singh Badal wrote: “I pay homage to the martyrs of Pulwama attack. We will always be indebted to these bravehearts who laid down their lives for the nation.”

Likewise, Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal said in a tweet: “Tributes to our bravehearts who lost their lives in the horrifying Pulwama attack last year. The nation will never forget their supreme sacrifice.”

Meanwhile, President of India Ram Nath Kovind said, “A grateful nation salutes the supreme sacrifice of our brave soldiers who lost their lives in the dastardly attack by terrorists in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir on this day last year. We remain firm in our resolve to defeat and eliminate terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to twitter to pay tributes to the soldiers who lost their lives in the deadliest attack. PM Modi wrote: “Tributes to the brave martyrs who lost their lives in the gruesome Pulwama attack last year. They were exceptional individuals who devoted their lives to serving and protecting our nation. India will never forget their martyrdom.”
