Punjab: 14,400 dengue cases reported this year The number of dengue cases recorded in the State in 2018 is the highest in four years. From January to December 5, a total of 14,400 dengue cases were recorded across the State. A total number of 4 deaths have been recorded this year. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh's home district of Patiala topped the chart with 2,308 cases ; followed by Sangrur with 1,650 cases and Mansa with 1,134 cases. As many as 14,218 cases of dengue were reported in 2015 whereas 10,439 cases were reported in 2016.In 2014,only 472 dengue cases were reported across the State. - PTC News
