Amritsar, December 5: Foiling yet another smuggling bid, the BSF recovered a drone along with a packet of heroin near the India-Pakistan border in Punjab’s Amritsar, officials informed on Monday.
Earlier on Sunday, the BSF troops fired in the direction of drone after hearing the buzzing sound near Roranwala Kalan village around 2:35 am. Later, while searching the area, troops discovered a broken quadcopter and a packet of narcotics, according to officials.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, a drone was recovered in the Tarn Taran district along with three kg of heroin.
