On Divyang Diwas, special loan camps to be held in Punjab's Sangrur, Malout, Mansa and Ludhiana on December 3
Chandigarh, November 21: The Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, has decided to organise a special loan camp on December 3 on the occasion of Divyang Diwas to provide loans to physically disabled persons, fulfilling the long-standing demand of the disabled association.
Punjab Minister for Social Security, Women and Child Development, Dr Baljit Kaur, said the state government was considering the demands of the physically disabled people with compassion and was trying to solve them. Taking another step in the same direction, the government has decided to organise a special loan camp on December 3 to give loans to the people of Punjab who have disability certificate 40 per cent or more.
Dr Baljit Kaur further said the physically disabled person who wanted to take a loan, should be a permanent citizen of the state of Punjab. He should submit his voter card, Aadhaar card, UDI Card, deposit guarantee etc documents could be submitted in the office of District Welfare Officer or SC Corporation.

She said the Punjab Government was making continuous efforts to make the physically disabled people of the state self-reliant. In order to make their lives possible, the Punjab Government is organising a loan camp at Sangrur, Malout, Mansa and Ludhiana on the occasion of Divyang Diwas on December 3, 2022. In these camps, the disabled persons who fulfilled the loan conditions would be provided loans.
