Punjab VB arrests Patwari for demanding bribe of Rs 10,000
Chandigarh, December 09: The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) during its ongoing campaign against corruption on Friday arrested a revenue Patwari for demanding bribe of Rs 10,000. Dr Kawnal nain Singh Kang , Halqa Dakha incharge (AAP) along with Complainant Varinder Singh (Block President AAP),Kamaldeep Singh came in Vigilance Bureau, office Ludhiana today on 09-12-2022 and produced Mohan Singh Patwari Halqa Dakha Tehsil Office Dakha (He is retired Kanugo and Reemployed as Patwari on 1.11.2022) along with bribe money of Rs 5000/- and Photo copies of currency notes and documents.

In this regard Case FIR no: 15 Dt 9.12.22 u/s 7 P C Act PS VB Ludhiana Range has been registered.
Accused has been arrested and will be produced in court tomorrow.
