Retired DSP shoots AAP leader Nitin Nanda at private function in Ropar
PTC News Desk: Retired Chandigarh DSP Dilsher Singh on Wednesday shot Aam Aadmi Party leader from Anandpur Sahib Nitin Nanda at a private function in Agampur village. The leader was immediately rushed to Anandpur Civil Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment and his condition is reported to be stable.
The victim had earlier been a Shiv Sena leader from Roapr who later switched to Aam Aadmi Party.
The duo reportedly engaged in an argument at a social function that resulted in altercation after which DSP Dilsher Singh opened fire at Nanda from his licensed revolver.
The accused has been arrested.
Anandpur Sahib police have registered a case of attempt to murder against Dilsher Singh.
