The Office of Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab has made all arrangements for counting of votes in the state. Disclosing Tuesday, Dr. S. Karuna Raju Chief Electoral Officer of Punjab said that counting of votes will be held at 21 different locations of state of Punjab for 13 Parliamentary Constituencies. He said that counting of votes will begin on May 23 at 8:00 am. He said that counting of Parliamentary constituency No.1 Gurdaspur would be held at various locations as per assembly constituency. He said votes of Sujanpur, Bhoa and Pathankot constituency would be counted at SMDRSD College Pathankot and counting of assembly constituency Gurdaspur, Dinanagar, Kadia, Batala, Fatehgarh Churrian and Dera Baba Nanak would be held at Sukhjinder group of Institutes, Gurdaspur. CEO said that counting of Parliamentary constituency No.2 Amritsar would be held at various locations as per assembly constituency. He said counting of votes of Ajanala, Majitha, and Amritsar North would be held at Mai Bhago Govt. Polytechnic College (girls) Majitha Road Amritsar while votes of Rajasansi assembly constituency would be counted at Khalsa Law College, Ram Tirath road, assembly constituency Amritsar West at Khalsa College Amritsar. Similarly, counting of Assembly constituency Amritsar Centre to be held at Government Industrial Training Institute, Ranjit Avenue, assembly constituency Amritsar East at Khalsa College for women, assembly constituency Amritsar at Khalsa College for Pharmacy, Amritsar and assembly constituency Attari at Khalsa College Sr. Sec. School, (Boys), Amritsar. Dr. Raju said that counting of Parliamentary constituency No.3 Khadur Sahib would be held at various locations as per assembly constituency. He said votes of Jandiala & Baba Bakala (SC) would be counted at Khalsa College for Engg. & Tech., Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar, Tarn Taran & Khadoor Sahib at International College of Nursing, NH-54, Village Piddi, Tarn Taran, Khemkaran at Lecture Hall, Adjoining Auditorium, Mai Bhago College of Nursing, NH-54, Village Piddi, Tarn Taran, Patti at Multipurpose Hall, Adjoining Auditorium, Mai Bhago College of Nursing, NH-54, Village Piddi, Tarn Taran, Kapurthala at Virsha vihar, Conference Hall, (Ground Floor), Kapurthala, Sultanpur Lodhi Virsa Vihar,Ist Floor, Kapurthala and Zira at Counting Hall-1, Dev Raj Groups Technical Campus, Zira Road, Ferozepur. He said that counting of Parliamentary constituency No.4 Jalandhar would be held at two locations as per assembly constituency. He said votes of assembly constituency Phillaur(SC), Nakodar, Shahkot, Kartarpur(SC), Jalandhar West (SC), Jalandhar Central, , Jalandhar Cantt and Adampur would be done at Office of the Director Land Record, Kapurthala Road, Jalandhar and counting of votes of Jalandhar North at Dining Hall, Sports School Hostel, Adjoining Office of the Director Land Record, Kapurthala Road, Jalandhar. CEO Dr Raju said that counting of Parliamentary constituency No.5 Hoshiarpur would be held at two locations as per assembly constituency. He said votes of assembly constituency Sri Hargobindpur (SC), Bholath, Phagwara (SC) would be counted at, Govt. ITI, Hoshiarpur, assembly constituency Mukerian, Dasuya, Urmar, Sham Chaurasi (SC), Hoshiarpur and Chabbewal (SC) at different locations of Rayat & Bahra Group of Institute, Hoshiarpur. He said that counting of Parliamentary constituency No.6 Anandpur Sahib would be held at various locations as per assembly constituency. He said counting of votes of assembly constituency Garhshankar, Banga (SC), Nawanshahr, Balachaur to be held at various locations of Doaba Polytechnic College Chokkran (Rahon), assembly constituency Anandpur Sahib, Rupnagar, Chamkaur Sahib (SC) at Govt College Rupnagar and assembly constituency Kharar and SAS Nagar at different locations of Government Polytechnic College Khunimarjra, Kharar. Dr. Raju said that counting of the assembly constituency Ludhiana East, Ludhiana South, Atam Nagar, Ludhiana Central, Ludhiana West, Ludhiana North, Gill(SC), Dakha and Jagraon (SC) of Parliamentary constituency No.7 Ludhiana would be held at various locations of Punjab Agricultural University Campus. He said that counting of Parliamentary constituency No.8 Fatehgarh Sahib would be held at various locations as per assembly constituency. He said votes of assembly constituency BassiPathana, Fatehgarh Sahib, Amloh and Amargarh at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University Fatehgarh Sahib, assembly constituency Khanna at GNE, Polytechnic College Ludhiana. Assembly constituency Samrala at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana. Assembly constituency, Sahnewal, and Raikot (SC) at Guru Nanak Dev Polytechnic College, Gill Road, Ludhiana. Similarly assembly constituency Payal (SC) at Guru Nanak Dev Polytechnic College, Ludhiana. CEO said that counting of Parliamentary constituency No.9 Faridkot would be held at various locations as per assembly constituency. He said votes of assembly constituency Nihal Singh Wala, Bagha Purana, Moga and Dharmkot at I.T.I Moga. Assembly constituency Gidderbaha at Pandit Chetan Dev College of Education Faridkot. Assembly constituency Faridkot, Kotkapura, Jaitu and Rampura Phul at various locations of Govt. Brijindra College, Faridkot. He said that counting of Parliamentary constituency No.10 Ferozepur would be held at various locations as per assembly constituency. He said counting of assembly constituency Ferozepur Urban, Ferozepur Rural and Guruharsahai at various locations of Dev Raj Groups Technical Campus, Zira Road, FZR. Assembly Constituency Jalalabad at SKB, Dev Centenary, Sr. Sec. Public School. Assembly Constituency Fazilka at S.K.B. Dev Sr. Sec. School PenchaWali, Fazilka. Assembly Constituency Abohar and Balluana (SC) at M.R College Fazilka. Similarly Malout and Muktsar at Guru Nanak College, Tibbi Sahib, Road, Sri Muktsar Sahib. Dr. Raju said that counting of Parliamentary constituency No.11 Bathinda would be held at various locations as per assembly constituency. He said votes of assembly constituency LAMBI, Bathinda Urban and Talwandi Sabo at various locations of Institute of Hotel Management, Bathinda, Assembly Constituency Bhucho Mandi (SC), Bathinda Rural (SC) and Maur at various locations of PESCO Vocational Training Institute, Bathinda. Assembly constituency Mansa, Sardulgarh and Budhlada (SC) at various locations of Govt. Nehru Memorial College, Mansa. He said that counting of Parliamentary constituency No.12 Sangrur would be held at various locations as per assembly constituency. He said votes of assembly constituency Lehra, Dibra (SC), Sunam, Bhadaur (SC), Barnala, Mehal Kalan (SC), Malerkotla, Dhuri and Sangrur at various locations of, Desh Bhagat Polytechnic College, Dhuri. Counting of Parliamentary constituency No.13 Patiala would be held at various locations as per assembly constituency. He said votes of assembly constituency Nabha (SC) at Govt ITI, Near PRTC Workshop, Patiala. Assembly Constituency Patiala Rural at Govt Polytechnic College For girls Patiala. Assembly Constituency Rajpura, Dera Bassi and Ghanaur at various locations of Punjabi University, Patiala. Assembly Constituency Sanour at Government Polytechnic College For Girls SST Nagar Rajpura Road Patiala. Assembly Constituency Patiala at Thapar University Patiala. Similarly, assembly constituency Samana and Shutrana(SC) at various locations of Gymnasium Hall Pollo Ground, Part-I and Part-II, Patiala, said Dr. Raju.
