Punjab and Haryana HC orders second autopsy on slain gangster Jaipal Bhullar

Jaipal Bhullar Encounter: Days after dismissing a plea by Bhupinder Singh, the father of slain gangster Jaipal Bhullar, seeking a second post-mortem of his son’s body, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has directed to conduct the second autopsy. The development comes after the Supreme Court on Friday (June 18) set aside the order of Punjab and Haryana High Court dismissing the plea filed by slain gangster Jaipal Singh Bhullar's father seeking a second autopsy of his son’s body. Bhupinder has seen the body of Bhullar which has gone blue and bones were broken, she said. Furthermore, she added that under Article 21 of the constitution, it was Bhupinder Singh's right to know how his son was killed Bhullar’s family filed an appeal against the order at the Supreme Court after the High Court said that it was beyond the jurisdiction of the court to issue any directions.
