Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Harpal Juneja named SAD candidate from Patiala Urban
Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal on Tuesday announced four more candidates for the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections 2022. Harpal Juneja has been named SAD candidate from Patiala.
The four candidates are S Baldev Singh Mann from Sunam, S Gobind S Longowal from Lehra, Harpal Juneja from Patiala Urban, and Hardev S Megh (Gobindgarh) from the Balluana assembly.

"Sukhbir Singh Badal announced S Baldev Singh Mann from Sunam, S Gobind S Longowal from Lehra, Harpal Juneja from Patiala & Hardev S Megh (Gobindgarh) from Balluana assembly as party candidates for Vidhan Sabha polls. With this total no. of candidates announced becomes 74," Daljit Singh Cheema tweeted.

It is pertinent to mention that Shiromani Akali Dal led by Sukhbir Singh Badal has been raising its voice against "the corruption and scam-ridden Congress government."
The purpose is to bring the corruption done by CM Captain Amarinder Singh’s government as well as his council of ministers before the people.
Ahead of the Punjab Assembly elections 2022, the Shiromani Akali Dal has been naming its candidates. A total of 74 candidates have been announced by SAD.
