Punjab-based weightlifter won Gold Medal in weightlifting in Australia

In a major win for India, Punjab-based weightlifter Gurpreet Singh Guri won the Gold Medal in weightlifting in Australia. The Indian Weightlifter Gurpreet Singh Guri is from Garhi Baksha village located in Jalandhar, Punjab. The wrestler has made India proud by winning the Gold medal in the mega competition held in Australia.

The competition was held at the Gold Coast in the city of Australia. Gurpreet Singh Guri won the Gold medal at Australia in Master Weight Lifting Commonwealth Championship. Gurpreet not only made Punjab proud but made the whole nation proud on himself. Gurpreet was contesting in Master Weight Lifting Commonwealth Championship under the age criteria of 30-40.

This is pertinent to mention that Gurpreet Singh Guri has been posted as the head constable of the Punjab Police and the people were expecting for his victory on an International level. The Indian Weightlifter Gurpreet Singh Guri has proved his mettle by winning the Gold medal in Master Weight Lifting Commonwealth Championship held in Australia.
