Congress candidate Capt Sandeep Singh Sandhu filed his nomination papers from Dakha constituency ahead of the Punjab byelections. He was accompanied by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh Bittu and his supporters. Meanwhile, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) candidate Dr. Raj Singh Dibipura has filed his nomination papers for the forthcoming Punjab byelections from Jalalabad constituency. Similarly, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate Bhagwan Das filed his nomination from Phagwara constituency. Punjab Bypolls: AAP candidate Mahinder Singh Kachoora files nomination from Jalalabad Voting for byelections will be done in four assembly constituencies of Punjab on October 21 and results will be declared on October 24. Jalalabad, Dakha, Phagwara, and Mukerian will go to polls.-
