Chandigarh, June 14: With Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday launching the online driving licence facility, people of the state can now get learner’s driving licence sitting at home with a single click of their computer or mobile. The Punjab Chief Minister, while launching www.sarathi.parivahan.gov.in portal, termed it as a revolutionary decision of the Punjab Government, which would save time, money and energy of those looking to get learner’s driving licence made. He said this would also help check corruption. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said the people of the state would now be able to get the learner’s driving licence just at a single click of their computer, mobile, tablet or phone while sitting at their home The procedure Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said an applicant could apply for learning licence at www.sarathi.parivahan.gov.in. He/She will have to first upload Aadhar card, thereafter after selecting the application for learning licence, the applicant can appear for online test. After passing the test, the approval would come immediately. After downloading the same, an the applicant can its print it and use it.
