Punjab CM inaugurates second phase of Jang-e-Azadi memorial in Kartarpur
Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh inaugurates the second phase of the Jang-e-Azadi memorial in Kartarpur on Tuesday morning. The second phase of Jang-e-Azadi has been dedicated to the nation by Captain Amarinder Singh. President of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC), Sunil Jakhar and Navjot Signh Sidhu were also present on the occasion. The memorial, which showcases various facets of freedom struggle, is a perfect blend of grandeur, aesthetics and architecture, the chief minister said and described it as a befitting tribute to the great heroes of the struggle for Independence. The chief minister had sanctioned the final installment of Rs 15 crore for the completion of the second phase of the Jang-E-Azadi Memorial last year. -PTC News
