Punjab: Sri Harmandir Sahib, popularly known as Golden Temple, in Amritsar was reopened for devotees on Monday as the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) allowed the opening of religious places with precautionary measures amid coronavirus outbreak. Likewise, the devotees visited Sri Harmandir Sahib to offer prayers. Meanwhile, a devotee, who visited the Golden Temple, said that "We all must follow social distancing norms and take precautionary measures like wearing masks and sanitizing our hands frequently." Punjab government had recently issued a set of guidelines for the opening of religious places. In the guidelines, it was stated that the places of worship and religious places will open only between 5 am to 8 pm. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1269846895024721920 Meanwhile, the limit on the number of persons at the time of worship shall not exceed 20, it added.
