Punjab changes curfew & shop opening timings; here are the guidelines for Lockdown 5.0 and Unlock 1
Punjab Government on Sunday issued guidelines for lockdown 5.0/ Unlock 1, which will be implemented from June 1 to June 30. In a set of guidelines, it has been stated that the lockdown 5.0 shall continue to remain in force in the Containment Zones till June 30. The state government has changed the timings of the opening of shops from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm in the evening.
Likewise, in the line with Central Government, the movement of individuals for all the non-essential activities shall remain prohibited between 9.00 pm to 5.00 am. Meanwhile, the district authorities have been directed to issue prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC and ensure strict compliance.
Those above 65 years of age, and persons with co-morbidity, pregnant women and children below the age of 10 years have been advised to stay at home except for the essential requirements and for health purposes.
