IMD Weather Update: The Indian Meteorological Department on Friday stated that the conditions were favorable for further advance of southwest monsoon over Delhi, remaining parts of west Uttar Pradesh, and some more parts of Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan during the next 24 hours. Hence, widespread rainfall was likely over northwest India during the next 5 days. Meanwhile, isolated heavy rainfall is also very likely over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi during July 11 and July 13.
