Punjab: Indian Air Force on Tuesday gets 8 Apache Choppers for the Pathankot Air Base. President Boeing India, Salil Gupte, handed over the ceremonial key of Apache attack helicopter to Indian Air Force Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa. Earlier, the Apache chopper received the water cannon salute, before the induction at the Pathankot Air Base. Likewise, Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa and Western Air Commander Air Marshal R Nambiar offered 'Pooja' ceremony before induction of the Apache choppers at the Pathankot Air Base. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1168751147458260992 Meanwhile, India is the 16th nation in the world to be operating the Apache attack helicopters. Also, IAF PRO Anupam Banerjee said, "It's a ceremonial induction of the aircraft into IAF. As of now, we've 8 aircraft. 22 aircraft will come in a phased manner and all will be inducted into Indian Air Force. Likewise, BS Dhaono after flying Mig 21 on Monday, said "It was a pleasure for me to fly with Abhinandan because he has got his flying category back, that is what all pilots look forward to.
