Punjab: Teacher shoots herself with .32 pistol in Khanna
Punjab Latest News: A science teacher of a private school in Khanna has allegedly committed suicide on Monday. She shot herself with a licensed pistol of her husband. The police have taken the body of deceased into the custody and started the investigation.
According to the information, the woman has been identified as Anjali Cham, who worked as a science teacher in a private school. She shot herself at her home in Gulmohar Nagar in Khanna with licensed .32 pistol. The police stated depression as the cause of latter's suicide. The woman was living with her husband while her daughter is in Canada on study visa.
It has been reported that she was suffering from depression and was under treatment. Meanwhile, the deceased's brother Vivek told that she was worried because her daughter was in Canada. Also, he said that his brother-in-law told them about the incident.

Meanwhile, Additional SHO Keemati Lal reached the spot and stated that they received the information that a woman named Anjali has shot herself and she was suffering from depression. SHO said that "Currently, it looks like the matter of a suicide. However, further investigation will be done on the basis of report."
