Punjab Minister, 2 MLAs test positive for COVID-19

Days after Punjab Cabinet Minister Sukhjnder Singh Randhawa tested positive for coronavirus, the Industry and Commerce Minister of Punjab — Sunder Sham Arora — has also tested positive for COVID-19. Similarly, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader and Sanour MLA Harinder Pal Singh Chandumajra has contracted the contagion disease. Likewise, Rajpura MLA Hardial Kamboj has also tested positive for COVID-19. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh took to Twitter and wrote: "Wishing a speedy recovery to MLA Rajpura Hardial Kamboj and MLA Sanaur Harinderpal Chandumajra who have been diagnosed Covid-19 positive. Best wishes." In another tweet, Captain Amarinder Singh wrote: "Wishing my Cabinet colleague Industry & Commerce Minister Sunder Sham Arora Ji who has tested positive for Covid-19 a speedy recovery. Look forward to him joining us at work soon." Punjab canal water supply Likewise, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal said in a tweet: "Wishing a speedy recovery to Harinderpal Singh Chandumajra, Shiromani Akali Dal MLA from Sanour, who has tested positive for COVID-19. Earlier, Punjab Cabinet Ministers Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Gurpreet Singh Kangar and Dera Bassi MLA NK Sharma had tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
