Punjab Police on Monday has detained BJP workers from Mohali Phase 9, who were distributing sweets after the resolution moved by the Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Rajya Sabha to revoke Article 370, which is scrapped. Also, now Jammu and Kashmir have been made the Union Territory with Legislative Assembly, while Ladakh is also the Union Territory without Legislative Assembly. publive-image The BJP workers were celebrating this via distributing sweets and Ladoos, were later detained by the Punjab Police. Although Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has opposed the Article 370 scrapping, the Shiromani Akali Dal has supported the Central government seemingly, the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir residents.
