Punjab Polls: Days after joining BJP, Balwinder Singh Laddi returns to Congress

Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Days after joining the Bharatiya Janata Party, Congress MLA Balwinder Singh Laddi on Monday rejoined the Congress party, sources said. Earlier on December 28, Congress leaders Fateh Jang Singh Bajwa and Balwinder Singh Laddi had joined BJP in the presence of Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. Despite assurance given by PPCC president Navjot Singh Sidhu regarding the ticket, Balwinder Laddi had decided to leave the party and join Bharatiya Janta Party. However, it is still not clear what made him go back to the Congress party. This year BJP has joined hands with Punjab Lok Congress to contest Punjab elections. Recently, Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi and Manjinder Singh Sirsa had joined BJP. BJP is leaving no stone unturned to make an impact in the poll-bound state.
