Punjab: Posters slated demanding Congress Leader Navjot Singh Sidhu resignation

Punjab: Posters slated demanding Congress Leader Navjot Singh Sidhu resignation, were seen in Mohali, here on Friday. There were posters pasted on roads in Mohali, which demands Navjot Singh Sidhu's resignation and there were questions written on them. These questions were, "When are you quitting politics? Also, posters were reminding Navjot Singh Sidhu to keep on his words. Posters slated were appealing on his resignation and saying "we are waiting for your resignation. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1142015291502628864 This came after Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu gave a statement during Lok Sabha Elections 2019. Navjot Singh Sidhu said is Congress President Rahul Gandhi loses elections from his constituency Amethi, then he will quit politics. Navjot Singh Sidhu rejected the claim that BJP candidate will give a tough competition to Rahul Gandhi in Amethi. Also, Congress President Rahul Gandhi fought 2019 Lok Sabha Elections from two seats- Amethi and Wayanad, in Kerala. Therefore, people are asking for Navjot Singh Sidhu's resignation. Meanwhile, Lok Sabha Elections 2019 results came on May 23, 2019, where BJP-led NDA government won the 2019 elections with a massive majority. Rahul Gandhi in Amethi got just 413394 votes whereas Smriti Irani garnered 468514 votes, which means Smriti Irani defeated Congress President Rahul Gandhi by 55120 votes from Amethi constituency.
