Punjab Roadways staff threaten to intensify protest if demands not met

The contractual employees of Punjab Roadways, PUNBUS and PRTC, who have been protesting at various places for a long time over their demands, have threatened the Punjab government of Chakka Jam if their demands would not be fulfilled. The contractual employees have been protesting against the Punjab government for a long time. "Therefore, a protest rally would be held on November 29 and if there would be no concrete solution, then we will organise a mega protest against the Punjab government," he added. He also warned that if there will be no solution then the contractual employees of Punjab Roadways, PUNBUS and PRTC would intensify the protest. Meanwhile, the protesters said that instead of amending the Act, the government was threatening the employees. -PTC News
