Punjab Solar Summit took place in Chandigarh
Punjab’s solar summit was held in Chandigarh, where prominent investors in the field of solar energy were awarded. Punjab's solar mission was recognized by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the best performing state award in renewable energy capacity building at the inaugural session of the First Renewable Energy Global Investors' Meet and Expo - 2015 in New Delhi. Of late Punjab has become a great destination for investment in the field of solar energy. Punjab Government has set a target of 100MW by the year 2020.
