Punjab witnesses massive decline in COVID-19 cases, tally crosses 1.31 lakh mark
Coronavirus Update: Punjab on Monday witnessed a major decline in COVID-19 cases as the state reported 336 new cases taking the total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab to 1,31,391.
According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department, the total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 1,31,391 while the death toll in the state has surged to 4,219 after 8 new deaths were reported from the state.

Among the new deaths, Amritsar reported 1 new death, Hoshiarpur reported 1, Bathinda 1, Jalandhar 1, Kapurthala 1, Ludhiana 1, SAS Nagar 1, and Muktsar 1.

Ludhiana reported 24 new cases while Jalandhar reported 58, Patiala 5, SAS Nagar 55, Amritsar 8, Gurdaspur 16, Bathinda 28, Hoshiarpur 16, Ferozepur 10 and Pathankot 13.
Likewise, Sangrur reported 2 new cases, Kapurthala 31, Faridkot 14, Muktsar 14, Fazilka 6, Ropar 7, Fatehgarh Sahib 4, Tarn Taran 7, SBS Nagar 8 and Mansa 10.
According to media bulletin giving a coronavirus update, the total number of COVID-19 recoveries in Punjab has increased to 1,23,047 after 326 new recoveries were reported from the state on Monday.
Ludhiana reported 63 new recoveries, Jalandhar reported 1, Patiala 18, SAS Nagar 45, Amritsar 21, Gurdaspur 12, Hoshiarpur 32, Ferozepur 1, Pathankot 5, Sangrur 10, Kapurthala 20, Faridkot 12, Muktsar 17, Fazilka 38, Fatehgarh Sahib-3, Barnala 5, Tarn Taran 9, SBS Nagar 3, and Mansa 11.
