Punjabi University professor to be honoured with award by President
Punjabi University professor to be honoured with award by President Dr. Kiran Kumari ,an Assistant Professor in Department of Sociology, Punjabi University, Patiala (PUP), would be honored with the 'Roll of Model' prestigious award on the occasion of International Disability Day by country’s president Ram Nath Kovind.The Punjab Government had also honoured Dr. Kiran Kumari last year for her eminent services. Dr. Kiran Kumar, despite being blind has been a source of inspiration for others in life. Also, five students are pursuing a doctorate in philosophy(Ph.D.) under her guidance. Presently, Dr. Kiran is also serving as a consultant in the Disabled board of state. -PTC News
