Punjab's drug inspector Bableen Kaur held on corruption charge
Amritsar, June 29: The drug inspector of Punjab’s Gurdaspur and Pathankot districts Bableen Kaur was arrested from the GNDU campus on corruption charges on Wednesday.
According to sources, the police arrived at Bableen Kaur's residence in New Amritsar to conduct a raid, however, she was not present. Sources claimed that the drug inspector had gone into hiding at Guru Nanak Dev University after which the police reached the campus and arrested her.

The drug inspector has been accused of demanding a bribe in exchange for issuing a license to a medical store operator.
The police will soon bring Bableen Kaur to Civil Hospital, Amritsar for her medical examination.
