PV Sindhu named in World's highest-paid female athletes by Forbes

Indian Badminton Player PV Sindhu, the only athlete from India to be named in the world's highest-paid female athletes by Forbes, in which Indian tennis player Serena Williams is on the top. PV Sindhu has got 13th position in the HIghest-paid female athletes 2019 with earning of 5.5 million dollars. Forbes released the list on Tuesday, in which Indian Badminton player achieved a mettle for the nation and made the country proud. PV Sindhu remains the India's marketable female athlete as she became the first Indian to win the BWF World Tour finals in 2018, said Forbes. The list of world's highest-paid female athletes is topped by Serena Williams (37) with the earning of USD 29.2 million. Likewise, on the second spot, its Naomi Osaka , wo won 2018 US open, whose earning is USD 24.3 million. The Top 15 among the world's highest-paid female athletes earned a total of USD 146 milion, as compared to the USD 130 million last year.
