"Everyone knows the reality of the border": Rahul Gandhi takes dig at Amit Shah
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday took a dig at Union Home Minister Amit Shah over his comment that India is the only country after the United States and Israel that is able to protect its borders. "Everyone knows the reality of the border," Rahul Gandhi said in a tweet.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi has asked the government to clarify the border tensions between India and China in Ladakh. During a virtual rally for Bihar on Sunday, Amit Shah stated that the surgical and airstrikes after the terror attacks showed that the defence policy of India was strong and that the country knows how to protect its borders.
"Uri and Pulwama happened during our time, it was the PM Modi and BJP govt, we did surgical strikes and airstrike," he said. He also said that the virtual rally is not an election/political rally but it is a rally to bring the people of the country together in our fight against COVID-19 pandemic.

"There are elections in Bihar in the coming days, I believe that under Nitish Kumar Ji's leadership NDA will form the government with 2/3rd majority but this isn't the time for politics. We all should fight COVID-19 under PM Modi's leadership," he stated.

Meanwhile, Congress on Sunday slammed BJP and said that “As India becomes the fifth-worst affected country from COVID, BJP’s priorities are very clear. No pandemic can come in their way of campaigning for elections.”
