Rainfall has occurred at a few places in the state, with monsoon on the peak. Chief Amount of Rainfall (in cm) - Moga, Talwandi Sabo, and Phagwara & Sangrur 3 each; Nakodar, Jalandhar (AWS), Halwara (IAF), Mukerian 2 each and Jagraon, Kapurthala, Mansa & Sunam 1 each. Forecast valid next five days – light to moderate rain, thundershowers likely at many places during next 24 hours. While a few places are likely to receive in the subsequent 24 hours.
