The film revolves around the events that happened during the Third Battle of Panipat. The film is featuring Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon in the main lead.
The film was released on December 6 and has garnered mixed reaction from the critics and the audience. The film has received rating of 3.9 stars out of 5.
Meanwhile, Former Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, spoke on movie ‘Panipat’. He said, “I have not seen the movie yet. But what I have heard is that Maharaja Surajmal has been wrongly portrayed in the movie. The scene that shows Maharaja Surajmal as a greedy person must be deleted.”
