Rajendra Prasad Death Anniversary: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal and Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Friday paid homage to the first President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, on his death anniversary.
First President of India — Dr. Rajendra Prasad
Dr. Rajendra Prasad was an Indian politician and a lawyer. He joined politics during the struggle for Indian freedom. He became a major leader from Bihar. He was also known as the support of Mahatma Gandhi. In fact, he was imprisoned by the British officials during the Salt Satyagraha of 1931 and 1942’s Quit India movement.
