Farmers' protest: Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait on Friday urged Indians living in the US to hold a protest during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s programme in New York on Saturday in support of the months-long farmers’ protest at Delhi borders. He also appealed to US President Joe Biden to focus on concerns of the Indian farmers during his meeting with PM Narendra Modi. He is set to address the 76th session of the UN General Assembly on Saturday. “We appeal to all Indians in the US. PM Modi will be there on September 25 in New York for a programme. All Indians in the US should place a ‘farmers’ flag on their vehicles and raise banners of ‘No Farmer No Food’," Tikait said in a video message.
